Foundations Course Description

As a student in this required tenth grade literature class, you will read some important “foundations” -- literary texts important to understanding who we are collectively and individually. You will use these texts to improve your analytical reading and writing skills, and you will strive for close readings using annotations. Your job will be to actively read the varied texts and find the common themes to explore.
