Open Your Eyes! Greek Mythology is Alive and Well in 2008

Background: You have now been introduced to the basics of the large cast of characters that make up the major Greek myths. Where have they gone? How are they still with us?

Your Task: Find at least ten pieces of evidence in your world that Greek Mythology is alive and well. For each, describe the evidence, connect it to mythology, and explain why this evidence exists. Extra credit may be given to the Greek mythology enthusiast who goes over the top and creates a much bigger, detailed list.

Where can I look? Advertisements, signs, logos, vocabulary, film, literature, art, music, tattoos, television episodes, cars, etc. DO NOT cite historical references.
