Each member will reread/review the stories the group chose and find the specific evidence (quote or specific paraphrase) to bring back to class to add to the chart. Focus on what is missing from your group discussion from today. If you were absent, assume you are working alone and spend at least an hour on this assignment: Observations about Creation Stories [In total, we will have only 2 class periods to complete the task: Thursday & Monday].

Return to The Big Myth Page and read one of the following the stories we haven’t covered yet: Inca, Mayan, Inuit, Yoruba, Norse, or Maori. In your notes, clearly labeled HW #5, summarize the basics of your chosen story and then list some of the similarities and differences you find, comparing it to the other stories we discussed in class (Babylonian, Egyptian, Ugandan, Chinese and the Biblical versions). You will share with your group next class and add them to your poster.

    HW #4

View the Babylonian Creation Story. Make sure you have your sound up or have headphones to hear the narration.

IN YOUR NOTEBOOK clearly labeled HW #3, create a "family tree" of the gods and for each god write down some key words that explain that particular god's contribution to creation. Also, what did you think of this site and how it presented the myth?
